It's December 30, 2023, and the year is coming to an end.
I went to a small but nice pizza restaurant with my girlfriend.

Today's restaurant is Pizza Wave, located in the downtown area of Gwol-dong.

It's right in the middle of Incheon Terminal Station and Seoul Arts Center Station, so I recommend using a map to find it.
(I've attached a map at the bottom of this post).
I've been to this place before when the weather was nice, and it's so nice to eat outside,
I wanted to share it with you because it's also a great place for a late night bite.
We visited after 7pm, which was after dinner hours, but we were able to get in right away with no wait.
(Note that they don't take reservations during dinner hours)
When you enter the store, you'll see a cool neon sign.

Maybe it was because it was a winter night, but the light from the neon sign felt warm.
Inside the shop, there are 4 employees busily making pizzas while watching the hall.
There are also pickles, water, and bowls by the counter, which you have to use yourself.
(I prefer the self-serve bar because I tend to eat a lot of pickles... anyone else out there?)
The bowls are made of stainless steel, which makes it feel more exotic.

There are several types of pizza and you can share the flavors.
Half and Half - 2 pizzas
Special Pizza - 4 pizzas
This is what you can choose from (but only large size pizza is available)
We went with the half and half
One Hawaiian pizza because I love Hawaiian pizza.
and my girlfriend, who likes her pizza spicy, chose the hot pepperoni pizza.
Each table has Parmesan cheese, Tabasco sauce, Sriracha sauce, Haines ketchup, and crushed red pepper slices.
They have expiration dates on them so you don't have to worry about eating them.
You can customize the sauce to your liking.... (mine was cheese and Tabasco).
Oh, and they also sell beer, my girlfriend had a Red Rock beer.
There are not many places that sell Red Rock draft beer, so I ordered it.
The inside of the store is also warm and the beer is in a cool cup, so it's big... I wanted to take a bite out of it.
But I can't drink beer, so I had a coke.
And we even got fries as a receipt event.
(I always do these events because it's a win-win)
The fries were topped with garlic butter sauce and were sweet and salty.

We saw another table eating hot pizza and they had real cheese waves.
So we tried it.

You guys could probably make a bigger wave.
The Hawaiian pizza has a really big pineapple on it.
The pineapple is so big that the inside of the pineapple is lukewarm.
I love Hawaiian pizza, but I prefer my pineapple to be slightly charred on the outside and warm on the inside.
Still, the amount of cheese was good and the texture of the dough was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, so the overall balance was good.
The hot pepperoni pizza is recommended for those who like spicy food...
I also like spicy, but I can't eat as much as my girlfriend, so I stopped at one.
(It's spicier than the usual flavors in a youth club!)
Still, the cheese neutralizes it, so those who like it can probably eat it while being patient lol
It looks like a bad review when I write it like this, but it wasn't and I really enjoyed it.
We were full after eating 6 slices, so we asked for a wrapper for the two remaining slices of pizza.

Before we came to Pizza Waves, we went to a puppet store and picked out two Quarka dolls.
and we left them on the table to eat.
And I think she saw it and drew it.
She's even good at drawing. Cackle.
